what are some really easy ways to know a gucci is fake? I was given a gucci horsebit hobo from an aunt. she bought it for herself but thought it was too big and gave it to me since id really wanted one. I dont see her buying a fake but i dont want to ask:-). Ill upload some pics later today if i can so yall can see, but for now are there any clues I should know about. does anyone have a real one they can post and i can compare it too. its a black monogram fabric bag with black lining and silver metal.

Last week when I was in HK, I bought myself a pink duchessa small boston bag at 30% thinking I had a great deal. My first Gucci and I love it.When I’m back to my own country, I found that the same bag is going for 50%. I believe now I have paid an extra $150 for it. This is not fair . Their sale should be consistent right? I am feeling very cheated now. The sales person in HK could have sold me with the wrong discounts. Do you think it helps to complain to their customer service? What else can I do?

Hi! I’m currently obsessing over the Abbey Crystal Tote with the detachable strap, but I haven’t seen it in real life…. does anyone have this bag? Do you love it? Or do you find it to be too large? Does it bother you that the top doesn’t zip?If I get it, I have to sell one of my bags- thinking about trading it for my Crystal Joy Boston that I’ve never used. I love the Boston style and currently have 2 of them, but I wish it had the shoulder/cross-body strap like the new Web Vintage bags (so I have my hands-free when I need them to chase after my kids!). The Boston also doesn’t seem to hold it’s shape as well as I would like it to, probably because I tend to put too much stuff in it!Such a hard decision- and if I keep both, my hubby will kill me (especially since I just bought a new Tory Burch clutch last week, which I “need” )Thanks for any experiences, advice, or thoughts about this bag you can share!! My DH is no help at all and I have no one to obsess with me!

Hi! I’m new to tPF and I wish I found this site earlier! Here’s my problem. I really wanted the belt bag and contemplated buying it from the Gucci online store. I ended up buying one from ebay. Seller claimed it was real. I received it and it looked good to me, although I didn’t inspect it very closely. I wore it for the first time this past Saturday and the clip part of the buckle broke. So now it won’t clasp shut! I’m so angry! I emailed the seller for some sort of proof of purchase so I can take it to a retailer but of course he hasn’t emailed me back. Now I’m thinking this is a fake. Any advice on what I should do? Is there any way to get the buckle fixed somewhere…where do I go for something like that? I’m in LA.
